I have been in a medical and health care environment since 2001.
My first job at the young age of 16 was an ICU nursing technician at Riverview Regional Medical Center. This began my curiosity to learn all I could about the human body and how it heals.
I worked as an office manager at Anniston Neurology clinic, learning how to run an office in a health care environment.
I was a corrections/medical officer for 3 years Calhoun County where I learned to respect every human is on a healing journey no matter their bad choices in life.
Until late 2018, I was working at Encompass Health as a Therapy Technician, where I assisted nursing and physical therapists.
After 14 years of working, I decided to go back to school to become a Massage Therapist.
That's where it all changed for me.
I attended Massage Therapy school and learned a different approach to being healthy and to healing. While in school, I was able to complete a Psoas Major release certification. Since graduation, I have continued my education, with the completion of N-Touch Raindrop technique. I also offer Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stones, and Fascia Blasting.
The passion I have for massage shows through my work. I believe the body is a healing machine and can be facilitated through massage, self-care, and essential oils.
I strive to share my knowledge of massage, essential oils and healing with everyone I meet.
